About the Show
In June 2024 Outside the March and The R.A.V.E. Institute co-produced the world premiere of R.A.V.E. in association with Toronto’s Luminato Festival. The project was created by Me Time (aka Sarah Barrable-Tishauer), one of Toronto’s favourite underground DJs, known for her inclusive, sober-friendly events.
The result was an immersive “mashup” colliding interactive theatre and rave culture, telling the story of a futuristic wellness startup and a founder forced to face the music. Over several years I supported Me Time and her collaborators as a dramaturg to develop the concept through Outside the March’s TD Forward March commissioning program, and served as a co-producer and supporting rehearsal director in production.
